The Dutch School of Thought is part of the learning community of Fontys School of Communication Eindhoven. Education is an important pillar of our learning community, engaging students in developing and sharing knowledge and ideas on thought leadership.
The thought leadership minor module aims to let students experience what thought leadership is, why it is relevant, what it can offer organisations and society, and how thought leadership strategies are developed. In addition, we stimulate students to experiment with different ways of thinking and paradigm shifting by creating novel points of view for organisations. They are educated to support organisations in activating paradigm shifts by developing and expressing novel viewpoints as well as living up to them. The course combines state of the art theories and practice-based experiences. Companies like KPN, Manpower Group, Tony Chocolonely and Aegon present their thought leadership cases and practitioners in the field share their thought leadership experiences.
The Gallery of Thoughts project is an annual walk-through exposition created by students of Fontys School of Communication who use their creative skills to express their novel point of view on important themes in our society.

Talented students are offered a traineeship to conduct research on thought leadership. The purpose of training students as junior researchers is to be able to create a theoretical and empirical foundation for their ideas on thought leadership. They contribute to our case studies and other forms of research and simultaneously incorporate this in their school projects. More about Bran Martens
